Garrett Pro Pointer

Garrett Propointer is a great tool. I never want to detect without it, but when I recieved my brand new pp it only worked for a week before the on/off switch quit working. It became very difficult to get it to turn on and stay on. I had to send it in and it took over two weeks to get it back. It now works great with a new switch installed. Overall still a great product. I just wish I had a spare.

The Garrett Pro Pointer is one of my primary tools used. It has found the item's when I could not see them. I have used in in dirt, dry and wet conditions, clay and the result was often a dirty mud covered pointer and cleaning was a breeze, wipe off with a damp cloth or at the sink running through water, and had no impacts with operation. I have used it at dusk and the LED is a nice feature and the scraping edge is a help as well. The vibration feature is also a plus for the unit. So far it is great companion, and I dont leave home without it, compact and efficient.

Prior to purchasing the Garrett Pro Pointer, I was using the Fisher pinpointer that came with my detector. The Garrett Pro Pointer beats the Fisher pinpointer in every respect. It's built like a tank and has superior sensitivity. No more having to be almost touching the target before getting the signal, which was a big issue with the Fisher. The Garrett has definitely sped up my recovery time, and I highly recommend it. It is well worth the money!

The Garrett Pro Pointer is a great help in speeding up the target recovery process. I used a cheap pinpointer before this, and the Garrett is head and shoulders above in quality and performance. Yes, the price may seem high for such a small device, but it my opinion, it is well worth it.

Compared to my 1st pinponter this thing is amazing it has excellent range and the vibration feature is great.

I love my pro pointer. I cuts my finding time in half, I couldnt do without it. My husband just got a metal dectector and I am going to get him a pro pointer too. I'm tired of sharing mine.

The Pro-Pointer has so many additional features that it just stands out above all the others. First off, it gives you two different types of signals to tell you where the target is. One is the normal audio sound a detector makes and the other is that it vibrates in your hand. If you are hard of hearing or in a noisy area, this is a great feature...

There is no need to fine tune the Pro-Pointer as the microprocessor circuitry keeps it operating at maximum sensitivity wherever you are hunting. It worked fine in high mineralized areas in the Mother Lode gold country, regular parks and school grounds, and at the beach in saltwater saturated sand. It sounded off on a small gold nugget when it was several inches away from the Pro-Pointer which was great and made it easy to recover. There are so many new features on the Pro-Pointer that it’s hard to begin to describe them all. There are features that even top of the line metal detectors don’t have.

For instance, there is a LED flashlight built in that helps you see better in the hole you’re searching and makes hunting in low light or darkness a snap...Another first is what they call a sifting blade built in to the Pro-Pointer. The rugged edge can be used to scrape or sift through the dirt when you are searching for a target...

We really like the Pro-Pointer as a prospecting and treasure hunting tool.

The first pinpointer that I owned was made by fisher. And I have to say that one really sucked. You have to be a half inch away before you pick up anything. However, my new Garrett Pro Pointer can locate items a full three inches away. A huge improvment and a huge help.
